Glow Baby Gloww

After several months of deciding whether to buy or not to buy this product…I finally gave in to my heart’s desire. Their magazine ads are enticing and the promise of a pinkish glowing skin is something to look forward too anyway. Since, I have a sensitive skin; I bought 30 tablets which is good for two weeks. The price is quite high at Php28 each but then again the skin is the largest organ of our body so we should invest on it big time. As of this blog drafting, I’m on my fifth day and I have noticed that my skin became more shiny and oily. I have six tiny pimples scattered on my chin and cheeks and an extra-large one on the tip of my nose. I’m afraid that this supplement is more suited for dry skinned women but I’m gonna give it a chance. After all, I’m nearing my period and the zits may just be an effect of hormonal imbalance.

Anyway, enough of my babbling.  Gloww is a skin supplement which promises to give you an even pinkish skin tone. It does not promise to whiten the skin…but it can help make it brighter and luminous by fading one’s pesky pimple scars and dark spots. For faster  results, it’s advised to take it 2 times a day for two months then you can take it once a day afterwards for maintenance. I have listed the ingredients of this supplement as well as their benefits below:

1. Collagen Strengthening (Marine Protein, Horsetail extract, Hydrolysed Collagen) - provides skin structure, increase thickness of the dermis (2nd layer of the skin), and adds moisture making the skin smoother and elastic
2. Blood Circulation Enhancer (Grape seed extract, Lemon bioflavonoids) - improves blood flow in the distribution of nutrients and removes impurities that could give clearer and brighter skin
3. Skin Waste Detoxifier (Green tea extract) - cleanses the skin’s impurities, thus making the skin clearer
4. UV Protectant ( Tomato extract, D. Salina extract) - protects the skin from harmful UV rays thus preventing inflammation, redness and even melasma
5. Free Radical Defense (Pine Bark extract, Vitamin C, Vitamin E) - prevents our skin from advanced ageing and degeneration

Before I end this post, I have to warn you that the smell of this product is off but bearable. I was also informed by a friend that some people may be allergic to marine protein and D. Salina extract which may cause pimples. However, you will never know if this will work for you or not if you don't try right? To give you a more detailed information about this supplement you can visit their FB page here. I’m going to do a follow up review after I finish the box. I will post pictures of my before and after shots as well. Wish me luck.
